Exception by Paramore.
I’ll be honest with
you, I didn’t actually hear this song until Glee did a cover of it and then I
went and listened to the original and I loved it. It’s just seems to be the story
of this young girl who has seen her parents’ divorce and ends up not wanting to
trust people and falling in love because of it. She ends up meeting this person
who she wants to let in but knows that they are going to be the only person she
will let in.
I just like all the
imagery I have in my head when I listen to this song and it’s just easy going.
For some reason it reminds me of a summer evening.
