This week’s song is
New York by Snow Patrol.
I don’t know what it
is about this song but I love it as much as I love Snow Patrol. It’s the
pre-chorus beat that has to be my favourite part of the song.
I tend to interpret this
song as the hurt of having someone you love not being near you and how you cope
with it. The fact that the nights are getting lonely and you ache from wanting
this person near you and you’re trying to explain this all to them. A slightly upsetting
song but I still find it a beautiful song.
